Eva Air Reviews

A Brief Introduction

Eva Air Reviews brand logoEva Air, headquartered in Luzhu, Taoyuan City, Taiwan, is the state’s second-largest airline and is rated with 5 stars by consultancy and airline reviewer and ranker Skytrax. The airline flies passenger and cargo services to a number of destinations on a fully international route network, having been founded on March 8, 1989. In 1991, Eva Air became among the first airlines to introduce a Premium Economy Class or Elite class, which is available on their Boeing 777 and selected Boeing 747 aircraft. Also, Eva Air had been recognised as being the 6th-safest airline in the world, having had no hull losses, accidents, or fatalities since they were established.

Our Eva Air reviews look at the Taiwanese airline and its main services and features, for more information for those interested in this carrier.

More Information

Eva Air has membership in the Star Alliance. The airline’s main base and hub is located at Taipei Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport from which they operate scheduled flights from Taiwan. Kaohsiung International Airport and Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok are Eva Air’s focus cities.

Meanwhile, I think they have a fine company slogan with “Sharing the World, Flying Together.”

Chang Yung-fa is Eva Air’s founder with Lin Pang Sui (Steven) as the airline’s Chairman and Cheng Chuan-yi as President. As of October 2016, Eva Air has a fleet size of 70 aircraft and flies to 77 destinations including cargo to Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America.

Reviews/ What Users Have to Say

Eva Air Reviews cabin crew serviceOn Airlinequality – where they were rated with 5 stars for quality – Eva Air was given an 8/10 score and 4 stars on all parameters, especially for their cabin crew service.

One of the Eva Air reviews dated December 9, 2016 said that the “Staff [were] friendly, food great and really nice lounge design and décor. Boarding was quick, cabin staff very friendly and efficient throughout the flight and lived up to 5 star expectations. Lunch served shortly after departure and a light meal before arrival into London, food standards and meal presentation were very good. Definitely choose EVA again on this route as they exceed anything that BA or Thai offer.”
